RESUMO: O pre­sente tra­bal­ho tem como obje­ti­vo estu­dar o caráter de impre­s­critibil­i­dade pre­sente nos crimes con­tra o gênero humano, tra­bal­ha­dos pela Esco­la Ibéri­ca da Paz, e anal­is­ar se tal caráter pode ser iden­ti­fi­ca­do como a origem da impre­s­critibil­i­dade dos crimes con­tra a humanidade for­mu­la­dos no pós segun­da guer­ra. Con­cluí­mos que con­fir­ma­da a teo­ria, é ple­na­mente pos­sív­el, de acor­do com os ensi­na­men­tos da EIP, que sejam real­izadas novas políti­cas públi­cas de memória e Dire­itos Humanos den­tro de país­es que ultra­pas­saram perío­dos dita­to­ri­ais ante­ri­ores a pos­i­ti­vação dos crimes con­tra a humanidade.

ABSTRACT: The present work aims to study the char­ac­ter of impre­scriptibil­i­ty present in crimes against humankind, worked by the Iber­i­ca da Paz School, and to ana­lyze whether such char­ac­ter can be iden­ti­fied as the ori­gin of the impre­scriptibil­i­ty of crimes against human­i­ty, for­mu­lat­ed after the sec­ond war. We con­clude that it is pos­si­ble, accord­ing to the teach­ings of the EIDP, for new pub­lic poli­cies on mem­o­ry and human rights to be car­ried out, espe­cial­ly with­in coun­tries that have passed dic­ta­to­r­i­al peri­ods pri­or to the pos­i­tiviza­tion of crimes against human­i­ty.
