RESUMO: Nos­so obje­ti­vo de inves­ti­gação é a crise insti­tu­cional no Brasil con­tem­porâ­neo pela sim­biose democ­ra­cia-autori­taris­mo. A pesquisa uti­liza-se de méto­do históri­co e pro­ced­i­men­to dialéti­co, a par­tir de lev­an­ta­men­to bib­li­ográ­fi­co à temáti­ca do Esta­do de Dire­ito ao Democráti­co, ten­do como norte a prob­lemáti­ca da crise das insti­tu­ições inseri­da no mod­e­lo fed­er­al­ista brasileiro, de pres­i­den­cial­is­mo de coal­izão. Dis­cute-se as insti­tu­ições políti­cas brasileiras e suas con­tradições pela con­ju­gação de forças cen­trípetas e cen­trífu­gas. Con­cluí­mos que o Esta­do na sua meta­mor­fose neces­si­ta realizar refor­mas estru­tu­rantes e aprox­i­mar o cidadão das insti­tu­ições.

ABSTRACT: Our research objec­tive is the insti­tu­tion­al cri­sis in con­tem­po­rary Brazil due to the democ­ra­cy-author­i­tar­i­an­ism sym­bio­sis. The research uses a his­tor­i­cal method and dialec­ti­cal pro­ce­dure, from a bib­li­o­graph­i­cal sur­vey on the theme of the Rule of Law to the Demo­c­ra­t­ic, hav­ing as its north the prob­lem of the cri­sis of insti­tu­tions insert­ed in the Brazil­ian fed­er­al­ist mod­el, of coali­tion pres­i­den­tial­ism. It dis­cuss­es whether Brazil­ian polit­i­cal insti­tu­tions and their con­tra­dic­tions are due to the com­bi­na­tion of cen­tripetal and cen­trifu­gal forces. We con­clude that the State in its meta­mor­pho­sis needs to car­ry out struc­tur­al reforms and approach the cit­i­zen clos­er to insti­tu­tions.
