RESUMO: A real­iza­ção do Primeiro Con­gres­so Inter­na­cional da Acad­e­mia Paulista de Dire­ito (APD), cujo tema foi a “Declar­ação Uni­ver­sal de Dire­itos Humanos em seus seten­ta anos,” con­sti­tu­iu um mar­co na história da Acad­e­mia Paulista de Dire­ito (APD).
A con­strução históri­ca dos dire­itos humanos rep­re­sen­ta esse proces­so civ­i­liza­cional e comunga dos ideais que a Acad­e­mia Paulista de Dire­ito (APD) tem bus­ca­do con­stan­te­mente salien­tar e val­orizar.
A Acad­e­mia Paulista de Dire­ito (APD) dese­ja enraizar sua mis­são ino­vado­ra, que se con­sub­stan­cia no proces­so de cri­ação de ambi­ente e de mate­r­i­al para o apri­mora­men­to dos juris­tas brasileiros, em nív­el de excelên­cia, que se pos­sa empar­el­har e mes­mo super­ar as expec­ta­ti­vas brasileiras, amer­i­canas e inter­na­cionais.
É o desafio aceito, e com­par­til­ha­do pela Acad­e­mia Paulista de Dire­ito (APD), mis­são cri­a­da pela própria Acad­e­mia, de modo pio­neiro.

ABSTRACT: The First Inter­na­tion­al Con­gress of the São Paulo Law Acad­e­my (APD), whose theme was the “Uni­ver­sal Dec­la­ra­tion of Human Rights in its sev­en­ty years,” was a mile­stone in the his­to­ry of the São Paulo Law Acad­e­my (APD).
The his­tor­i­cal con­struc­tion of human rights rep­re­sents this civ­i­liza­tion­al process and shares the ideals that the São Paulo Law Acad­e­my (APD) has con­stant­ly sought to high­light and val­ue.
The São Paulo Acad­e­my of Law (APD) wish­es to take root in its inno­v­a­tive mis­sion, which is embod­ied in the process of cre­at­ing an envi­ron­ment and mate­r­i­al for the improve­ment of Brazil­ian lawyers, at a lev­el of excel­lence, which can match and even sur­pass the Brazil­ian, the Amer­i­can and inter­na­tion­al expec­ta­tions.
It is the chal­lenge accept­ed, and shared by the São Paulo Law Acad­e­my (APD), a mis­sion cre­at­ed by the Acad­e­my itself, in a pio­neer­ing way.
